YERKO ZLATAR (1977)
Artista multidisciplinario que vive y trabaja en Lima Perú.
Estudio la carrera de artes plásticas en Corriente Alterna, en el año 2000 ganó el premio Phlilips para Jóvenes talentos obteniendo el primer puesto, gracias a eso participo en la fase internacional de este concurso llevandolo a exponer su obra en el museo Memorial Da America Latina en Sao paulo, ese mismo año es becado por la escuela de arte Byam Shaw School of Art en Londres para hacer un curso de posgrado y esto lo lleva a permanecer en el Reino Unido por 4 años.
Durante ese tiempo experimentó con el arte digital, el video arte y la música experimental, enfocando su trabajo en temas como la arquitectura moderna, las culturas antiguas el misticismo y la tecnología, participó en varias colectivas entre Londres, Paris, Madrid y Lima.
Fue uno de los creadores de Cretásico uno de los programas pioneros en la difusión e investigación de música experimental en Peru.
De regreso a Lima participo en numerosas exposiciones colectivas y fundó Puna Estudio, un estudio dedicado al diseño, a la investigación y a la preservación de técnicas ancestrales de tejido lo que lo llevo a trabajar con distintos maestros artesanos, enriqueciendo así la materialidad de su trabajo.
Su trabajo gráfico abarca distintas técnicas, pintura, grabado, collage, diseño gráfico, murales y video arte.
YERKO ZLATAR (1977)
Multidisciplinary artist who lives and works in Lima, Peru.
He studied plastic arts at Corriente Alterna, in 2000 he won the Phlilips prize for Young Talents, obtaining first place, thanks to that he participated in the international phase of this contest, leading him to exhibit his work at the Memorial Da America Latina museum in Sao Paulo, that same year he received a scholarship from the Byam Shaw School of Art in London to take a postgraduate course and this led him to stay in the United Kingdom for 4 years.
During that time he experimented with digital art, video art and experimental music, focusing his work on themes such as modern architecture, ancient cultures, mysticism and technology. He participated in several collectives between London, Paris, Madrid and Lima.
He was one of the creators of Cretasico, one of the pioneering programs in the dissemination and research of experimental music in Peru.
Returning to Lima, he participated in numerous group exhibitions and founded Puna Estudio, a studio dedicated to design, research and the preservation of ancestral weaving techniques, which led him to work with different master craftsmen, thus enriching the materiality of his work.
His graphic work covers different techniques, painting, engraving, collage, graphic design, murals and video art.
